Bio

Erin Rappleye (she/her) is originally from the Chicago-area. She earned an MFA with Distinction in Jewelry + Metal Arts from the University of Iowa in 2015. After graduating, she completed a large-scale public mural with the University of Iowa Outreach Program for The Washington Free Public Library in Washington, Iowa. In 2016, she was an assistant fabricator for the Crashbar / Doorhandle Project (designed by Architect Steven Holl) for the Visual Arts Building at the University of Iowa. Erin served three consecutive summers as Faculty Instructor for Jewelry courses at Interlochen Summer Arts Camp at Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. In 2019, she co-curated an international contemporary jewelry exhibition for 108|Contemporary in Tulsa, OK, called Building on the Body.

Currently, Erin is an Assistant Professor of Art at Tulsa Community College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Erin has exhibited her artwork both locally and nationally. She maintains a studio practice at Positive Space – Tulsa.
